Financial Analyst

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst in Elk Grove, California, within the Healthcare sector. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the financial cycle, maintaining and controlling accounts, conducting analytical work, and assisting in various audits.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and perform account reconciliations.
• Oversee intercompany transactions and process general ledger entries.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve billing issues.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action.
• Conduct financial analysis to aid in daily operational decisions.
• Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and CRM to optimize workflow.
• Provide support to accounts receivable and accounts payable staff.
• Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
• Assist with year-end processes such as preparing 1098’s and 1099’s.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with CRM
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports
• Familiarity with Accounting Functions
• Understanding of Accrual Accounting
• Experience with Budget Processes
• Ability to conduct Ad Hoc Financial Analysis
• Strong skills in Financial Analysis
• Relevant experience in the non-profit industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Familiarity with non-profit financial regulations and standards
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
