Description:
WHO YOU ARE
- Accounting/Finance/ Economics or Management background
- Project management
- BA/BS or MBA degree in Finance, Economics, CA/CPA preferred
- 5-10 years of experience in finance
- Experience in Multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles is recommended
- Statutory (Local GAAP, IFRS) Accounting, Controlling, Tax knowledge
- BA/BS or MBA degree in Finance, Economics, CA/CPA preferred
- Fluent in English
- Proficient in SAP, including SAP 4/Hana and BI tools.

Responsibilities:
- Provide key insights that helps Vodafone make better financial and business decisions
- Prepares statutory accounts and accounting of actuals related to financial statements, applying internal processes and controls, to ensure integrity and compliance with Group and all applicable regulations.
- Payables Reporting, Compliance and Control – Accounts Payable month-end close processes including reconciliation of AP sub-ledgers, revaluation of the foreign currency balances, and the reporting of payables performance through the running of KPI reports.
- Manage Accounts Payable processes including resolving discrepancies, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with internal departments and vendors to solve issues.
- Processing, recording, classification, consolidation, and interpretation of Vodafone financials, including the production of monthly, quarterly & annual reports.
- Drive digital transformation, through the adoption of modern, simple, standardized, and centralized processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOX requirements, SSC processes and procedures
- Timely response by providing solutions to internal and external customer queries
- Complete the monthly closing activities in a timely, efficient and accurate manner
- Perform any ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities required
- Control of the KPI´s framework for monitoring results overall for key elements in Finance Operations DB
- Lead regular reviews and provide support to the relevant Business & Finance areas on the achievement of targets
- Drive core financial implementations and innovation across the operation
- EVO Demand Management/ Data Governance/ Process Governance
Accounting: Manage a set of P&L and BS accounts, including Real and Accrual control.
Advisory: Advise the correct accounting treatment for new Products/ Processes.
CoP/ Group: Interact with External, Group and CoP key stakeholders to take advantage of global scale.
Project management: Implement or adapt Local or Group projects to comply with all applicable standards.
Control partners: Timely respond to queries from internal and external auditors.
