Fixed Term Consultant Haematologist

at  North Bristol NHS Trust

To be an active member of the clinical and laboratory haematology services and help deliver excellence in clinical care and diagnostics. To contribute to high quality, effective, evidence-based services for inpatient, outpatients and day care, providing specialist advice and a referral service for other clinicians in the Trust To undertake administrative duties associated with the care of patients and the running of clinics or departments. To help provide triaging/vetting of referrals and advice and guidance to local GPs. To participate in the consultant on-call rota (1:5) and provide cover for colleagues in time of absence and leave when required.
On-call is partially supported by a haematology specialist registrar. Leadership, development and organisation of the services in the charge of the post holder in line with the Trust/Divisional business plans
