Responsibilities

  • Planning and implementation of projects in the SAP-QM environment
  • Introduction of SAP-QM (OneLIMS) in the plants and warehouses of the Silica business line
  • Training of quality, logistics and customer service staff in the use of SAP and LIMS
  • Maintenance and further development of LIMS/SAP in the context of Smart Effects
  • Global support function for LIMS-related topics, as well as laboratory optimization projects (e.g. eCoA)
  • Preparation of globally valid specification documents / test plans
  • Collaboration in the implementation of integration and functional tests in the context of change requests or release and integration tests

Requirements

  • Successfully completed vocational training as a chemical laboratory assistant and further training as a chemical technician/chemical technician, alternatively bachelor’s degree in the field of natural sciences / engineering with a strong affinity for IT and IT systems
  • Proven several years of experience with SAP-QM modules and LIM(S) systems as well as confident handling of Microsoft Office
  • Experience in the field of method validation and analytical quality assurance as well as method development and introduction
  • Knowledge of the workflows of production plants, in instrumental analysis including device connection, calibration and maintenance
  • Confident knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
  • High motivation and ability to work in a team, confident appearance paired with good analytical thinking
