Key Accountabilities

• Crane anchorage and di-anchorage upon instruction readily available.
• Verify correct lifting points to attached hoist sling and taglines.
• Crane path to ensure clear at all times for crane movements.
• Warning other personnel to ensure nobody under the suspended load.
• Lashing and securing of loads to ensure no dropped objects.
• Barricade or isolate the area available when require
• Ensure materials (Skips, Plates, etc.) coming from Ships, must park inside the yellow line and ready for pick up position.
• All incoming vehicle approaching rail crane must monitor and warn to ensure no coalition.
• Rig up and down materials at ground level with Crane.
• Provide assistance to crane foreman with activities such as access gangways installation.
• Report dangerous / unsafe condition to Supervisor.
• Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.

Qualificaiton/Experiences & Skills

• Secondary School.
• 6 months above of experience.
• Basic rigging & crane hand signal training.
• Working knowledge of English language.
• Knowledge of other languages will be an added advantage.
• Ability to understand spoken and written instruction.
