We are currently seeking a Group Quality Engineer to join our Group Operations Team at Optinova.
About the team
The Group Operations unit (GOPS) is dedicated to delivering excellence in processes, systems, insights, value enhancements, and cost-efficient shared services across all Optinova units. Our focus spans five key functional areas: Quality & Compliance, Operations Systems, Logistics, Sustainability, and Project Management.
The role
As Group Quality Engineer you will play an important role in developing and continuously improve our Quality Management System and Digital platform. You will also coordinate group level material compliance investigations and quality incidents.
This position can be based in Uppsala (Sweden) or Mariehamn (Åland).

Key Responsibilities

  • Deployment, validation, support and release management of Digital Platform covering statistical process control, Production Support & Maintenance, Quality Document Management, Digital document signatures and Quality case management
  • Participating in quality certifications and audits
  • Writing and providing training to the organization for global procedures and instructions
  • Coordinating material compliance investigations from customers and towards suppliers

Systematic problem solving of business critical quality issues

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Work experience in quality management in a manufacturing environment
  • Good understanding of the requirements behind Quality (ISO 9001, ISO 13485) and Environmental (ISO 14001) standards and audits
  • Previous experience in working with Systems for Manufacturing Execution, Document Management and Statistical Process Control
  • A structured and organized approach to problem solving, with proven experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and build trust with internal as well as external stakeholders
  • Ability to influence and get things done in a matrix environment
  • Possibility to travel and work remotely with users across various time zones
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, quality or comparable acquired skills
  • Fluency in English and Swedish
