ABOUT YOU

You will have experience working within a guest services management role overseeing multiple departments within a multifaceted business. You must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of delivering a quality guest experience. Other key skills and attributes we are looking for include:

  • Extensive experience working within a guest services related role.
  • Previous experience within a Guest Services management role within a multi disciplinary operation.
  • High level of organisational and time management skills.
  • Have a positive approach with excellent communication (both written and verbal), leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite and POS/Reservation based software.
  • Ability to prepare and present informative reports and conduct thorough investigations as required.
  • Manual Driver’s licence and/or First Aid qualifications will be highly regarded but not essential.
  • You will be a WHS champion with regard to ensuring safe workplace operations and ensure all teams meet compliance requirements with their relevant workplace legislation and company policies.
  • Must be comfortable working in an environment that includes mammals, birds and reptiles & be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Guest Services Manager role will report to the Head of Operations and will oversee the day to day management of the department. Forming a key part of this role you will be required to support the business objectives, enhance the guest experience through service, maintaining a high standard of park presentation and accessibility, troubleshooting, assisting in crisis management and be a point of contact for the park operations.
With the guest experience serving as a primary focus and the Guest Services department serving as a major communications and information hub, this role will liaise closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that operational information is delivered accurately and appropriately. The Guest Services Manager will also promote, manage, and facilitate sales of NTAQ Memberships and interstate/international National Trust membership programs.
