Description:

IRUBIS is a young, growing biotechnology start-up specialized in monitoring and control of bioprocesses. Our technology accelerates the development of biopharmaceutical drugs. We are building a state-of-the-art system to provide our biopharma customers with information about their bioprocesses in the lab, in the office, at home and at any time. We are seeking an Engineer to take our process spectrometer, Monipa, to the next level. Tasks

  • Conception and further development of components and prototypes using our inhouse FDM/SLA 3D printers and in cooperation with our external CNC manufacturer
  • Design and development of electronics, including basic PCB design
  • Development and extensive testing of new device components in compliance with Quality and GMP regulations
  • Assembly of optical devices while maintaining accurate documentation
  • Manage the procurement of CNC parts and other components
  • GMP/ISO9001:2015 compliant documentation

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in engineering, electronics, medical technology or similar
  • Proficient in CAD Software (preferred SolidWorks)
  • Interest and ability to design and develop components that meet quality standards
  • Strong technical understanding of interdisciplinary challenges
  • Knowledge of design rules for 3D printing and CNC-compliant modeling
  • Basic understanding of electronic components and troubleshooting techniques
  • Basic programming skills in Python and C (particularly for Arduino)
  • Proficiency in English and basic knowledge in German
