Hi there! We are Alf – a newly formed tech company owned by Länsförsäkringar Alliance. With a client base of more than 1,8 million households, Länsförsäkringar is one of Sweden’s biggest financial groups. Alf is on a mission to create a secure and sustainable way of living by adding cutting-edge IoT tech to 200+ years of experience from making people feel safe and comfortable. Now, we are looking for a Head of Backend Development to shape our technical backbone at the very beginning of our story.

• Ensuring high-quality delivery and promoting best practices in backend development.
• Take part of the team’s daily development activities. We believe the accompanying mentorship is best conducted by working closely with team members.
• Managing backend services effectively by adapting and optimizing backend systems to meet increased demand or changing requirements.
• Taking an active role in anchoring and evaluating technical decisions within the tech organization.
• Collaborate with our architect and product team to understand and align with the product roadmap, leading technical initiatives that support Alf’s overall business goals and ensure our backend architecture not only meets high technical standards, but also supports and enhances the overall strategy
