Responsibilities:
HOXTON FARMS IS GROWING QUICKLY AS WE SCALE UP OUR PILOT MANUFACTURING FACILITY IN LONDON. THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO LEAD A TALENTED, ENTHUSIASTIC AND DIVERSE TEAM WHILE PLAYING A HUGE ROLE IN SHAPING THE FUTURE OF THE CELLULAR AGRICULTURE INDUSTRY.
You should be a highly experienced bioprocess engineer with a proven track record of hiring scientists, managing projects and building scientific strategy in a commercial setting.
The role is based full-time in person at our HQ in London. We are willing to support international relocation.
You should have:
- 8 years’ industry experience in bioprocessing
- deep technical expertise in mammalian cell culture scale-up (>200L), process optimisation and downstream processing
- experience building and leading a team, managing a multidisciplinary technical roadmap and setting long-term cross-functional R&D strategy
- familiarity with GMP/GLP environments
- familiarity with building and running a manufacturing plant
- strong communication skills and the ability to present complex technical information to diverse internal and external stakeholders
- a bold mindset, ready to innovate and challenge industry standards in the design process
