EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or technology. Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.
  • Fluent both German and English on business level MANDATORY.
  • Successful track record of building, leading and retaining diverse, multi-functional high performing teams.
  • Understanding of SAP Digital Supply Chain Solution portfolio and its position in the market.
  • Understanding of the Design to Operate peorcess.
  • Industry knowledge, in particular Manufacturing and Automotive and/or Consumer industries.
  • Business Development, Business Strategy planning, Demand genration and Knowledge management.
  • Proven track record working cross-culture and proven experience in effectively navigating large and heavily matrixed organizations
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Very good understanding of MEE customer base and their buying behaviour, in particular German market.
  • General Manager attitude and proven experience.
  • Entrepreneurial behaviour.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 10 years experience (min. 5+ years at SAP) in Solution Sales Digital Supply Chain or Industry Sales Manufacturing and Automotive and/or Consumer industries or Customer/Solution Advisory and/or Business Development in Digital Supply Chain or named industries.
  • 3+ years of experience in a role as people manager in Digital Supply Chain and/or named industries.
  • Developing and executing large scale business plans and programs.
  • Experience in change management.
  • Deep understanding of SAP corporate strategy and solution portfolio.
  • Experience in change management

ROLE DESCRIPTION

SAP’s Intelligent Enterprise turns any business into a best-run business. The Solution Advisory organization in Digital Supply Chain MEE is chartered with differentiating SAP as the innovation partner of choice by making the Intelligent Enterprise value and experience real for every customer.
The Regional Head of Solution Advisory Digital Supply Chain MEE (f/m/d) is responsible for leading and driving continuous improvement and innovation in pre-sales and business development within digital supply chain. The Head of Solution Advisory (f/m/d) is also responsible for the achievement of regional targets and go to market planning for future years.

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES / EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Providing overall vision, leadership and management to the assigned team.
  • Act as thought leader and develop best practices in relation to our Digital Supply Chain business.
  • Responsible for end-to-end planning & operationalization of regional Digital Supply Chain Solution Advisory Strategy.
  • Drive demand generation plans and activities.
  • Drive pre-sales leadership, process optimization and standards.
  • Serve as member of the regional leadership team for Digital Supply Chain MEE.
  • Support to build the future (CQ+1, CQ+2, GTM planning) from a Solution Advisory perspective.
  • Drive operational excellence within the Solution Advisory team.
  • Drive a performance-based organization (including enablement and performance management).
  • Support regional success in Digital Supply Chain solution sales and Customer Success Management achieving quarterly and linearity targets.
  • Help to enable partners and SAP sales teams.
  • Lead the team to consistently deliver relevant, impactful and compelling messaging in every interaction of the customer lifecycle.
  • Engage with C-levels at SAP customers to initiate and steer joint engagements.
  • Serve as management sponsor for selected customers and opportunities.
  • Serve as role model by being customer-facing.
  • Recruit and coach team members to improve individual skills, address development priorities and retain top performers.
  • Ensure high team satisfaction & high engagement of team members.
  • Understand any potential knowledge gaps that exist within your team. Identify areas of development for each team member and work with each to define and execute a tailored learning plan.
