HMP Parc In-Reach Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN)

The post holder will be responsible for the coordination and provision of an effective assessment and treatment service to all individuals who find themselves detained in custody whether on remand or convicted. Work as a senior member within the Prison In-Reach multi-disciplinary teams working closely with members of the prison health care teams and other disciplines within the prison environment . In meeting the complex needs of the identified client group, be responsible for liaison with key agencies (statutory and Voluntary) within the prison community and the wider geographical community. Key to the success of the post will be the effective working and partnership arrangements.
They will be representative at relevant groups, meetings, forums and to provide specialist advice, knowledge on the management of mentally disordered offenders. You may be required at times to provide training to G4S staff around mental health disorders and management of behaviours.
