Job Introduction
Reports To: General Manager/Deputy Manager
Purpose of the Position:
The goal of the hospitality manager is to provide customers with an enjoyable and unforgettable experience. Whether that enjoyment comes from eating a good meal, relaxing in a luxurious atmosphere of The Chase Care Home facilities, or receiving consistently person centred and outstanding customer service.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, organizing and managing the daily operations of the hospitality team to ensure efficiency and display excellent customer service.
  • Events planning and management in line with residents’ personal preferences.
  • Maintaining the budget within the prescribed limits and reporting as directed to management.
  • Ordering, receiving, maintaining and controlling stocks within the allocated budget.
  • Maintaining hospitality standards in accordance with the relevant policy.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and in accordance with the relevant policy.
  • Rota, welfare, and discipline, keeping line management informed of arising issues.
  • Authorising leave having regard to staffing requirements and maintaining accurate records.
  • Identifying staff training needs and support in achieving personal goals as part of ongoing improvement.
  • Supervision of staff members and emphasis on importance of outstanding customer service That is deeply rooted within Connaught Care values.
  • Monitoring work and hygiene standards and keeping up-to-date records of monitoring procedures for periodic quality assurance checks carried out by management.
  • Reporting faults and defects.
  • Quality assurance in all allocated areas of hospitality.
  • Planning and carrying out special functions.
  • Carrying out any other reasonable task as directed
