GUEST EXPERIENCE TEAM MEMBER

Lark Hotels is seeking a Guest Services Associate at our location in Stowe, VT, Field Guide Lodge.
Guest Services Associates are responsible for the critical first impression our guests have of our properties. Guest Experience Associates demonstrate exceptional hospitality in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner going above and beyond to ensure that guest experiences will be worth remembering.
The key service roles begin with greeting guests and end in delivering a departure experience that makes a guest want to be a return customer. We strive to set our standard beyond ‘above and beyond’ where the guest feels they’re a home away from home!

  • We are currently looking for a Full-time team member

PAY IS $17 - $19 HOURLY DEPENDING ON SKILL LEVELCompensation:

$16 - $19 hourlyResponsibilities:

  • An individual with a strong background in F&B who is passionate about breakfast and starting the day off on the right foot, or someone who is a Night Owl and enjoys working in a fast paced environment with live music and an F&B focus!
  • Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide the correct keys and room numbers, and inform them of policies
  • Develop personal connections with guests and teammates and grow as an individual!
  • Answer incoming calls and questions about guests’ needs in-person and online regarding room bookings, room rates, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and be comfortable on their feet, walking on property is a perk in itself!
  • General bookkeeping: Ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date, and assist in continuing guest experience through local and state knowledge
  • Feel confident handling customer complaints as needed, and develop interpersonal skills with team members
  • Room to move up with a fast-growing boutique management company, with the potential to travel through the company to assist other properties
  • Knowledge of the Lark brand and the properties in our portfolio
  • Work with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests

Qualifications:

  • Comfortable taking telephone calls, responding to emails, and mitigating stressful situations
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 2+ years of hotel industry experience or related job preferred
  • A food and beverage background is a huge plus… we love to see versatile employees!
  • Someone dedicated to being part of a team for the foreseeable future
  • Eager to learn and grow, with computers and data analysis, as well as develop professional skill sets
  • A self-starter… someone who identifies tasks and executes them promptly and professionally
  • Must be dedicated to making magical memories and experiences for all guests!
  • Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
  • Working knowledge of Hotel POS such as Lightspeed and Clock PMS+
  • Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills
