Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
The HR Advisor provides operational HR support to the HR Business Leads. The position is generalist in nature and is required to provide guidance across the end-to-end employee lifecycle. As a HR Advisor you will assess and anticipate HR-related needs and deliverables to allow the HR Business Leads to adequately meet the service needs of Northrop and its employees. The HR Advisor will be an active ambassador for Northrop’s purpose, vision and values in ensuring they are visible, embedded and upheld.
This position is available immediately and will be in a full-time capacity for a 12 month Fixed Term.
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Support the HR Business Leads and organisational Managers with people, and change-related issues.
- Assist the HR Business Leads to manage day-to-day HR matters i.e. performance management guidance to managers and associated documentation.
- Assist to ensure employee issues are dealt with fairly and in a prompt time frame, in line with Northrop values, minimising potential legal risk.
- Contribute to the updating, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures.
- Support the HR Business Lead’s to provide advice on the relevant Award/s and Agreement instruments including the Fair Work Act and Modern Awards as applicable.
- Collaborate with the HR Business Leads to identify improvements in HR systems and processes.
- Collaborate with HR team members and experts to deliver on business requests and support the HR Lead roles as required.
