 The position is responsible for the coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific assigned Fluor HRSS (Human Resource Shared Services) projects ensuring consistency with Fluor’s HR PMO Governance.
Responsible for coordination of team Shared Services Implementation Projects which could span multiple countries, regions, and multiple HR functions. The projects may include international components.
Ensure specified projects are on-time and cover full scope and lifecycle commitments including effective project planning, communications, training, and post-project follow up.
Ensures timely and appropriate project updates to stakeholders including HR COEs and HR Operations teams.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
 Lead the planning and implementation of assigned HRSS projects – including defining the scope and creation of detailed work plan
 Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
 Identify risks, create contingency actions, and develop risk plan for each
 Define project tasks and resource requirements
 Develop full scale project plans
 Clarify completion criteria for each deliverable and develop acceptance plan with the help of HRSS Team Leads
 Coordinate project staff – in coordination with HR Partners, identify all key players and process owners and areas of responsibilities
 Plan and schedule project timelines – identifying and sequencing events to meet schedule
 Implement projects according to project plan, setup regular project meetings
 Control of projects
 Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
 Provide direction and support to project team
 Develop effective communication strategies for assigned HRSS Projects
 Provide quality assurance of project
 Constantly monitor and report on project(s) progress, issues and needs to all stakeholders and Share Services Management
 Implement and manage project changes, notify management of missed key dependencies and potential issues which impact project schedule
 Evaluation and review outcomes and facilitate After Action review

BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS


Bachelor’s degree preferred or a combination of education and related work experience with knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
 2+ years of related program/project management experience
 Highly developed Microsoft Project skills and related software (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint)
 Demonstrated analytical, interpersonal, project management, communication, and presentation skills
 Critical Skill:
o Maintains a highly collaborative and effective business relationships
o Acts as a catalyst for change and continuous improvement
o Strong problem resolution techniques
o Must possess excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills

Ability to monitor projects and/or activities and take corrective action when necessary. Ability to exercise independent judgment and work under minimal supervision

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


Project Management Certification (PgMP, PfMP, PMP) is a plus but not required
 Previous experience with HR business processes
 Large multi-country employer experience
