We drive JERA’s renewable energy business growth in Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. As a global renewables IPP working across the life cycle of renewables, we are looking for key talent to be an active part of this exciting journey as the business grows further.
As a direct report to the VP Human Resources, you will play a crucial role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives across our international locations. This role requires a pragmatic doer with strategic capabilities and strong interpersonal skills, who can effectively manage cross-cultural HR functions and support our diverse workforce. You will work closely with the other HRBP’s looking after different regions, aa well as the wider HR team.
The role will be based in London and be responsible for international JERA Nex entities and people outside of Europe and Japan. The role will require travelling primarily within the area and frequent collaboration with JERA Co. Headquarters in Japan and the regional JERA Co entities.

Responsibilities:

  • You build and maintain strong relationships with people leaders and help them to understand the pool of international mobile employees in their teams and future international projects
  • You will partner with people leaders to match challenging jobs with skills of existing workforce
  • You will act as a trusted advisor to management, addressing and resolving employee relations issues
  • You will become a sparring partner for the business and provide support to our employees in different HR domains
  • Team up with management to move into geographic markets as we grow our business
  • Be part of the project team that drives legal entity establishments as the HR expert at the table
  • You act as a change agent and are an active part in JERA Nex culture initiatives
  • Own people agenda for your countries in scope
  • Actively collaborate with your CoE colleagues to bring the best-in-class employee experience to our workforce
  • Drive key HR processes for your business areas, with focus on workforce plan, performance management, employee engagement, leadership enablement and enhancement
  • You are representing the voice of the business in the global HR tool implementation and can actively shape our future processes
