Description:
WHAT YOU’LL NEED FOR SUCCESS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance (or related fields)
- Typically, 3+ years of Compensation, Finance, and/or Data Analytics experience preferably in the financial services/insurance industry
- Advanced knowledge of Excel including managing large databases and creating Excel charts
- Excellent critical thinking and mathematics skills
- Experience with Job Architecture or Job Evaluation is a plus
- Experience working with HRIS systems is preferred (Workday is an asset)
- Ability to create and validate reports required by Business, performing data mining and data cleansing prior to the creation of reports
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to extract, manipulate and analyze data to create and produce reports/analysis for tracking performance and trends used for setting business direction and for portfolio policy changes.
- Ability to generate reports and track performance based on the interpretation of key business statistics and trends

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Prepare monthly commission reports for payroll submission.
- Support the annual merit or bonus process, including the administration of bonus programs and long-term incentive programs (Commission, RRSP matching, etc.) Work with HR Business Partners and Business Unit Leaders to ensure data and changes are reconciled correctly.
- Answer inquiries to HR general inbox and coordinate coverage with HR Coordinator
- Conduct, gather, and analyze employee comp data. Prepare proposals with recommendations based on research and analysis and participate in presentations to HR.
- Develop and maintain tools and templates of the key performance indicators related to our People Pillar Strategy.
- Guide an internal functional specialist and partner on compensation, consulting with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition regarding compensation inquiries.
- Build, deploy, and monitor analytical reports & processes, leveraging models created by the Analytics team including talent acquisition and HR dashboards.
- Monthly reconciliation of employee business mapping, producer compensation, turnover and bonus eligibility.
