Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Jones Radiology is seeking a dedicated Human Resources and Payroll Officer to join our People & Culture team. The HR and Payroll Officer works between both the HR and Payroll function, facilitating the management of key aspects related to the employee lifecycle. Responsibilities include onboarding processes, handling contract variations, day-to-day payroll processes, system management, and termination procedures. This role provides essential support to the HR Business Partners in facilitating smooth and efficient HR processes.
The HR and Payroll Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our HR and payroll functions, contributing to the overall success of Jones Radiology. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer the timely and accurate processing of employee data and information within HRIS, rostering, and payroll systems.
  • Work alongside the Finance and Payroll Analyst to carry out day-to-day payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Implement and monitor the new starter and onboarding process to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organisation.
  • Formulate and process contract variations and internal appointments.
  • Coordinate the development, maintenance, and review of the operational WFP, systems, frameworks, policies, and processes.
  • Support in graduate recruitment campaigns.
  • Involved in the compliance monitoring of the organisation’s skill sets and working requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Promote and support initiatives designed to improve staff engagement and the culture and climate of Jones Radiology.
  • System management with a particular focus on data integrity and reporting.
  • Experience with developing and delivering HR, Payroll training content, resources, and tools.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business/management, law or related fields (desirable).
  • Experience in healthcare administration related field (desirable).
  • Return to Work certification (desirable).
  • Capacity for understanding, problem solving and knowledge of the theory and practice of HRM/IR/ER.
  • Experience in Human Resources, within a medium to large organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability utilising HR and Payroll software (desirable systems include (Oracle, UKG, Preceda).
