Aurelia Metals Limited (ASX: AMI) (‘Aurelia’) is an Australian gold and base metals mining and exploration company. We own and operate two underground mines and processing facilities in New South Wales (NSW) and have an enviable portfolio of organic growth prospects in the region.
Our Peak Mine comprises several underground polymetallic (gold, lead, zinc, copper, and silver) and an 800 thousand tonnes per annum (ktpa) processing plant. The Mine is located in the northern Cobar Basin in western NSW, a short distance from the historical town of Cobar.
The Federation deposit hosts high-grade zinc, lead, and gold mineralisation and is located in 15 kilometres south of the central-west township of Nymagee. – this is a new mine site opening not to be missed!

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
Embark on a transformative journey as a Human Resources Advisor at our dynamic Federation and Peak mining operations. You’ll collaboratively work with the Cobar Region HR function supporting our established Peak Mine, the newly developing Federation mine, and eventually the Great Cobar site. Ideal for dedicated professionals with a proactive and hands-on approach, this role is a gateway to making a significant impact in fostering leadership capabilities and driving workforce engagement in a thriving and supportive environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Forge and nurture strong, collaborative relationships across the company.
- Play a key role in establishing and promoting our desired workplace culture.
- Drive the implementation of strategic HR initiatives and projects, enhancing operational effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to HR-related legal standards, providing expert employment relations legislative advice to our leaders.
- Support the Corporate Recruitment Team with comprehensive recruitment processes from start to finish.
- Deliver robust, people-focused support, advice, and insights to business leaders, fostering a proactive and supportive environment.
- Guide and assist in managing our Fair Treatment System and Disciplinary Procedures with integrity and fairness.
- Maintain and update key HR metrics, providing departments with timely insights for strategic decision-making.
- Champion the execution and ongoing management of our Achievement and Development Plan, supporting leaders in review processes and employee development strategies.Facilitate Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) for optimization of workforce performance, in addition to general HR responsibilities including the drafting of contracts and maintenance of employee records.
