We design, manufacture and market propulsion thrusters, deck machinery and waterjets, in addition to designing new solutions for the maritime industry. We are currently looking for a Hydraulic Design Engineer for Anchoring, Mooring and Towing engineering team. As a Hydraulic Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our product range with our collaborative product management team. In this role you will be working closely with hydraulics chief designer and interact with our external customers when needed. The role will be based in Rauma with flexible remote work possibilities after onboarding to the role.

QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of bachelor’s degree in appropriate area of engineering (e.g. mechanic or hydraulic engineering)
- Basic understanding of hydraulics and ability to understand hydraulic schemes and symbols
- Previous experience in maritime business is considered as an advantage
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Communication skills in Finnish and/or English required
Responsibilities:
- Hydraulic design and development of anchoring, mooring and towing equipment
- Technical Support within engineering team and other internal functions as needed
- Support to customer delivery projects and aftermarket activities
