JOB DESCRIPTION
We have an immediate opportunity for an Incoming Inspection Technician to join us at our diverse team. In this position you will be able to execute incoming inspections against the material received, carry out containment actions an, create nonconformance reports in the applicable system and have effective communication with the SQE groups, sorting companies and internal peers.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Technical Degree in Engineering, Quality or similar
- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar position
- Working knowledge of quality/problem solving tools (PPAP, MSA, 8D)
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Knowledge and use of measurement equipment
- Familiarity with TPM and SMED techniques
- Blueprint reading and GD&T (preferred)
- Strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
1. Execute incoming inspection against applicable prints and standards.
2. Follow up applicable containment activities, material segregations & identification, issue quality notifications to supplier and SQE, etc.
3. Execute changes to the inspection plans in ERP system.
4. Look for material disposition with peers within the stablished time.
5. PPAP samples verification and provide feedback to stakeholders.
6. Follow up calibration program.
7. Carry out dimensional analysis as support to non conformancies on the lines and/or at incoming.
8. Create and control standarized documentation, such as work instructions, quality alerts, etc.
9. Prepare and submit invoices for sorting activities or such.
