Description:

We are now looking for an Industrial Engineer.
Industrial engineer maintains and develops production methods and runs development projects to improve production methods for better flow, productivity, safety, quality and overall performance. Identifies improvement opportunities through analyzing manufacturing data.
This role is located in Hyvinkää.

The key responsibilities:

  • Analyze and develop manufacturing processes to drive and follow up manufacturing targets (Safety, Delivery, Quality, Productivity, Cost) and actions. on unit level.
  • Design FLOW standards by using LEAN methodology, define production methods, technology, factory layout, line level layout, material replenishment and material utilization.
  • Conduct studies to determine the most efficient sequence of operations workflow and recommends methods and technology for optimal performance.
  • Drive digitalization in shop floor and factory processes.
  • Define Process FMEA and check sheets in cooperation with Quality.
  • Execute Manufacturing development and CAPEX projects in line with global manufacturing strategy and project development portfolio.
  • Support Daily Management in the factory, evaluate data, identifying technical issues, drive problem solving by preparing reports and analyzing production data.

The requirements for the candidates:

  • University degree in a relevant field, preferably at a Master’s level. M Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or industrial management with coursework in the manufacturing processes.
  • 3-5 years of previous experience as a manufacturing engineering or similar position.
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and LEAN manufacturing
  • Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques.
  • Ability to execute projects on time and on budget.
  • Very good process improvement implementation skills
  • Experience of acting as a scrum master, project manager or agile team member are considered as an asset.
  • Ability to do problem solving, and co-creation with partners.
  • Can-do attitude and solid people communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations
