About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Information Security Associate to work on the Enterprise Technology team.
The Cybersecurity Rotational Program is a two-year program that offers 3 eight-month rotations in different domains within information cybersecurity. The rotations include, but may not be limited to Cyber Threat Fusion, Phishing awareness, Non-Human Account Management, Penetration testing, Data Loss Prevention, Third Party Risk and Governance, Vulnerability assessment, Cloud Security and Secure Development. The program offers analysts a unique opportunity to gain exposure and experience in different roles, develop on-the-job skills, build relationships and a network of connections, and receive frequent feedback from multiple leaders.
The expected outcome of the program is to create an internal pipeline of diverse talent that has a broader range of skills that will support a long-lasting career in Cybersecurity at Wells Fargo.

In this role, you will:
- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of emerging data access control technologies, information systems security issues, safeguards, and techniques
- Maintain and track the status of documents
- Maintain familiarity with bank security procedures and policies which may include information security government regulations
- Review access requests for proper authorizations and produce reports to assist customers in reviewing accesses
- Provide technical support for routine to moderately complex security related issues
- Assist more experienced staff with security consulting and moderately complex security projects related to data access, integrity, confidentiality, and business continuity
- Review existing systems security issues, procedures, and provide support for testing, emergencies, installations, and conversions
- Provide training and assistance for installed security products and may assist in the delivery of security awareness programs
- Assist in audit compliance projects
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal customers
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications, US:
- 6+ months of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications, US:
- Bachelor’s in cybersecurity preferred but not required.
- Information security knowledge including experience in one or more of the following security disciplines: information security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, host/network forensics, cyber-crime investigation, penetration testing, business continuity, or cyber threat intelligence
- Demonstrated knowledge, interest and /or experience with Python, SQL, .Net, Terraform, Kubernetes, Privileged Access Management, Directory Services as well as Cloud platforms and Cybersecurity acumen.
- Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
