Actemium Emirates Projects (AEP) is an engineering and contracting business unit, specialized in electrical, instrumentation and control systems projects, from design stage to construction and commissioning, for the Oil & Gas industry.
AEP have been active in Abu Dhabi and in the oil & gas sector since 1980.
It has executed a vast array of projects either for ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) subsidiaries directly or as a specialized subcontractor under the main contractors. We have a professional team of project managers, engineers and a strong in-house construction workforce.
We are looking for a talented Intern who will help support our Project Teams.
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of senior engineers to design, review, install and commission field instrument and control systems.
PROFILE
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Instrumentation Engineer to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or those with minimal experience in instrumentation engineering.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of instrumentation technology, control systems, and automation processes
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills for preparing reports and technical documentation
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Responsibilities:
Instrumentation Design: Develop and design instrumentation systems for process control, including selecting and specifying instruments such as sensors, transmitters, and actuators.
System Integration: Integrate instrumentation systems with control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA) to ensure seamless operation and data collection.
Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including instrumentation datasheets, loop diagrams, and wiring schematics.
Installation and Commissioning: Oversee the installation and commissioning of instrumentation equipment, ensuring proper setup and functionality
