Mediq is determined to build a Group Commercial Category & Sourcing Management function across the organization that drives high impact to the bottom line. With our European footprint, Mediq’s category & sourcing management spans across all geographies with a representation in local teams. Mediq will strengthen category & sourcing management for key categories like Wound Care on group level under the leadership of the Chief Product Officer. You have the opportunity to become part of this exciting journey and shape your own future at Mediq. In this role you will be part of the global Category & Sourcing management team and report to the Category Director wound care.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS, EXPERTISE AND EDUCATION

  • Knowledge of business development techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market
  • Ability to manage projects and develop/change process within an organization as demonstrated by prior work experience
  • Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with a diverse membership, employees and/or vendors in a clear and precise manner as demonstrated by prior work experience
  • Experience in planning and keeping up deadlines
  • Stakeholder management, communication and change skills
  • Result orientation, sense of urgency and be deadline-oriented
  • Hands-on and can-do mentality, and commercial experience
  • Excellent knowledge of of English and preferably German language
  • Maintain medical knowledge and understanding of changes in the industry
  • Active Nursing registration or equivalent
  • Specialization in Wound Care
  • Minimum Bachelors level degree
  • Must be self-motivated and a highly organised individual with robust problem solving techniques

Further key accountabilities and responsiblities:

  • Develop and conduct internal wound care training courses both internally and externally
  • Elaborate webinars and write articles to share knowledge about therapy and diseases
  • Create new care pathways & care solutions, and support implementation at the customer
  • Promote the benefits of the Mediq own brand products and educate both clinicians and internal team
  • Develop educational and clinical support materials in conjunction with marketing across portfolio
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders with Mediq business units for clinical educational support
  • Identify new opportunities for expanding the wound care range
  • Advise product managers on new products, alternatives and steering
  • Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in Wound care to drive product evaluation resulting in poster presentation and publication
  • Work with external laboratories to build testing data to support product claims
  • Conduct an evidence GAP analysis and prioritisation plan
  • Generate evidence to support market positioning and product features, advantages and benefits
  • Prepare reports, presentations, posters and papers for internal and external publication
  • Provide support to our Category management team and local Business units on Klinion and general wound care issues

Responsibilities:

You will be closely working with Category Management, Business Units and Clinicians to support evidence generation, testimonial, publication and clinical education in Wound Care with a focus on the Benelux, German and UK market. For evidence generation, you will also work closely with local teams and the doctors and nurses in our own Hungarian wound care centres. Your product knowledge is needed to support product offering, training and conversions for tenders. You have a critical role in supporting the Mediq own brand ambitious strategic growth plans and driving our future operating model.
