The International Data Management team consists of specialists for all processes relating to global data management. They build up the Data Management teams of new entities and support existing DKMS Group entities through regular international exchanges, training and measures to ensure the quality and processes of the local Data Management units.
For our team based in Cologne or Tübingen we are looking for an

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in IT, business administration or in the medical field
• At least 4 years working experience, ideally in an international working context
• Very good English skills
• Good knowledge of databases
• Very good knowledge of project management
• Good knowledge of quality assurance and process optimization
• Team-oriented as well as independent work
• High level of empathy
• Very good written and spoken communication skills
• Strong intercultural sensitivity and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

• Independent development, implementation, documentation and monitoring of global process and quality standards
• Analyzing the technical implications of developments in Data Management processes and independently deriving the resulting next steps
• Proactive support of all international DKMS Data Management teams in identifying and taking into account any country-specific standard deviations or problem solutions
• Planning, coordination and preparation of workshops with contact persons from the DKMS entities as well as the predominantly independent implementation of the workshops
• New and further development of training concepts to convey system and process-related as well as operational content from the field of Data Management
• Preparation and conceptualization of train the trainer measures to enable the foreign Data Management departments to roll out and establish a local country-specific and independent training concept including the defined training content
• Initiation, control and management of projects, as well as participation in relevant cross-departmental and mostly globally oriented projects and programs, the roles and responsibilities derived from this are Data Owner and Data Use Purpose Owner
• Strong interface to ITS in the form of the International Data Management roles of the international DM BUITC and the PO of DM relevant applications
• Project participation in the preparation and implementation of the operations of a new DKMS site, analysis, assurance and implementation of DM relevant processes
