INVESTMENT ANALYST (ENGLISH AND GERMAN SPEAKING)

Location: Hamburg, Germany
Experience Level: Degree preferably in a finance or a related discipline, 2 - 4 years’ experience,
Fluent English and German required.
Reporting to: Partner, Head of Advisory

• Educated to degree level preferably in a finance or related discipline i.e. law, engineering or

STEM degrees.

• Fluent English and German required.
• MBA / Advanced degree/ CFA / CA highly advantageous but not required
• Analyst: 1-2 years work experience
• Associate: 2-4 years work experience

ROLE OVERVIEW

Due to rapid growth, we are looking to hire a dedicated and experienced Investment
Analyst/Associate. Our Investment Analysts work closely with our Investment Managers and the
Head of Advisory to assist with the management of client relationships and execute lending advisory
transactions. With exceptional deal flow and exposure to a global client base of technology enabled
high growth technology businesses, many of whom are VC backed you will have the opportunity to
work in a dynamic environment, developing broad skills in debt advisory and private credit execution
with significant client interaction. You will have regular exposure and day to day interaction with
Founding Management and Head of Advisory. A strong attention to detail and the ability to work

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in execution of Fuse Capital’s lending advisory activities
• Reviewing client financial information and analysis of financial statements
• Building and maintaining financial models (integrated 3 way models incl P&L, Cashflow, and

Balance Sheet)

• Drafting and development of client business overviews and Investment Memoranda (IM’s)
• Coordinating financial due diligence and loan documentation with clients and lenders
• Managing deliverables and deal information flow
• Staying abreast of relevant industry trends

PREFERRED PRIOR ROLES / EXPERIENCE

• Debt or equity advisory
• PE or VC investment
• Front-office banking or Research & Analysis roles in Commercial, Corporate and Institutional

Banking

• Investment Banking / M&A
• Leveraged & Acquisition Finance
• Back office Corporate Finance execution teams
• Corporate Development / In-house M&A roles

This role requires strong technical stills, and preferably candidates will bring expertise in:
