Vacancy Details
In the IT Support Engineer position you will provide comprehensive IT and technical support to users across our group, both locally and remotely. As a member of our Group IT Support Team (Tier 2), you will serve as the first point of contact for local issues while collaborating with our broader IT Support Team to address challenges across various sites. This position demands a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, eager to expand their knowledge within a growing business.

Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Manage New Starter IT onboarding, Role Changes, and Leavers.
  • Handle incoming requests, liaising with end users and IT suppliers.
  • Provide support to end users at all organizational levels, locally and remotely.
  • Perform regular maintenance and ensure uptime of video conference and other end-user equipment.
  • Conduct computer builds, support, repairs, and troubleshooting.
  • Facilitate user account setups and software troubleshooting.
  • Configure and troubleshoot mobile and tablet devices.
  • Support Teams Meeting Rooms.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

You will be previous experience working in a similar technical role in a IT function, you’ll have strong attention to detail and great communication skills.

  • Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, working to support both local and remote.
  • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management, particularly Apple devices.
  • Experience in a Managed Service Desk environment.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 client-side operations.
  • Knowledge of Asset Management practices.
  • ITIL Foundation v4 certification.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams Room systems.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications or equivalent qualifications.
  • Possession of a valid UK driving license.
