Targomo is a Berlin-based growing solution provider specialized in location intelligence, enabling companies to make the right location decisions. Our web-based platform, TargomoLOOP, supports well-known retail, hospitality, and quick commerce companies in +25 countries with location analysis.
Our IT Infrastructure and DevOps team is looking for an IT System Administrator to strengthen our internal IT helpdesk and system administration efforts.
Tasks

MUST-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of and experience with administration of different operating systems (Windows, Mac and Linux)
  • Knowledge of and experience with general concepts/tasks/conditions of technical helpdesk and administration in a heterogeneous system environment
  • Knowledge of and experience with device management, endpoint security and hard- and software inventory
  • Knowledge, experience or general interest in applied network and security concepts/tools as well as open-source software
  • Fluency in English in written & verbal form

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Experience with software automation, system provisioning and advanced security strategies/tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Active Directory / EntraID environments
  • Experience with microservices and container-based tools (Docker, Kubernetes etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Support: Provide and prioritise first level support and coordinate helpdesk requests. Responsively and effectively handle hardware and software related issues and complete requests for technical support in a timely manner.
  • Administrate: Provide hands-on administration, system maintenance and staff support in a heterogeneous operating systems environment (Windows, Mac, and Linux). Install new software, configure, and apply upgrades and patches, device management and endpoint security policies.
  • Set Up: Help set up technical equipment and workplace for new employees. This includes setting up new computers with software, creating accounts, assigning licenses, providing access to different applications and systems, etc.
  • Maintain: Keep track of our internal distribution and management of hardware, software, licenses, permissions, orders. Maintain documentations and detailed inventory records of all IT equipment - manage hardware and software inventory over its whole life cycle.
  • Take Care: Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day technical issues - diagnose and correct problems. Perform smaller technical maintenance and part replacement works if possible and coordinate device repairs with external service providers if required.
