Junior Accountant

Qureos is seeking a Junior Accountant for one of its clients. The role involves assisting the finance team with accurate financial documentation, managing inventory records, and supporting financial reporting. Based in Abu Dhabi, this position is ideal for an Emirati candidate with 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance, providing an opportunity to contribute to daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial documents and reports.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Perform general accounting tasks, such as bookkeeping, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
• Manage and maintain accurate financial inventory records.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and other regulatory filings.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth financial operations.
