Due to continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Logistics Project Manager to join the team here at P K Marine Freight

Based out of our 70,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Knowsley, we’ve been offering a full cargo handling and logistics services over the last 54 years!
We are looking at expanding the team due to an exciting period of growth, change, and with an ambitious business planning pushing for substantial development over the next few years
The Job - Joining a well established team, your day to day duties will be incredibly varied. The new team member will thrive working within a fast paced environment where priorities can change minute on minute. The main aspect of the role is to manage our customers shipment throughout the full 360 process; from collection, warehousing, containering, packing and shipping. The role is extremely hands on, liaising with existing suppliers to obtain quotes, booking space and time for containers, whilst ensuring that all the required paperwork is prepared and completed. The position is mainly office based however, you will be required to liaise directly with the Export Packing and Warehouse teams. Overseeing the physical aspect of the work (in the warehouse) to ensure the efficiency of the running of the job.

Essential Experience -

• MS office suite including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Excellent timekeeping
• Previous role dealing directly with customers
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to work outside normal remit
• Desirable - previous logistics / warehouse planning experience
