Responsibilities:

Join our dynamic team as a Junior Manager Energy and Fuel, where your role is pivotal in optimizing bunker order planning and managing fuel budgets. Ensuring operational feasibility of itineraries, handling claims, and providing constant support for fuel-related issues. Elevate your career in a role that empowers you to innovate and contribute to the success of our Fleet Technical Operations department!

  • Responsible for coordinating with the Fuel Purchasing team, Chief Engineers, and various teams to optimize bunker order planning both in the short and long term
  • Work with the Fuel Analyst to accurately build fuel budgets and forecasts as well as manage financial month end procedures and variance analysis
  • Verify operational feasibility of future itineraries from a fuel consumption and availability perspective
  • Support the Fuel Purchasing team, Chief Engineer, and Ship Manager in managing both quantitative and qualitative claims
  • Provide out of hours cover for fuel related issues that go beyond FOC remit
