Description:

Summary – The Junior Salesforce Administrator is an entry-level position. In this role, under the supervision of the Salesforce Administrator, you will assist in the ongoing development and success of our salesforce.com platform. The ideal candidate will have a record of accomplishments in improving processes and user adoption using the Force.com platform. The Junior Salesforce Administrator will work closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback used to develop and deploy new processes which support the growth and profitability of the company. The Junior Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational support to internal business units, configuration, user training, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Passion for the Salesforce.com platform and some experience performing Salesforce admin tasks.
  • Strong comprehension of standard and custom Salesforce objects and Sales Cloud: Accounts, Contacts, Leads and Opportunities, Salesforce reporting and dashboards. Experience with Validation Rules, Record types, Page Layouts, is preferred.
  • Understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules) is preferred.
  • High proficiency in Excel required (Pivot tables, complex formulas); PowerQuery experience preferred, demonstrated ability to learn new systems.
  • Gathering requirements and proposing technical solutions.
  • Previous operational experience supporting multiple teams and/or departments is preferred.
  • Team player with ability to own projects to successful outcome.
  • Excellent attention to detail, producing output with minimal errors.
  • Proactive self-starter; Organized, trustworthy, and able to look at challenges as opportunities.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to present technical solutions to any audience.
  • Ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities and manage multiple deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator certification required.
  • Some exposure to Salesforce API and custom development.
  • Experience with Salesforce add-on’s: DocuSign, Quip, Einstein Analytics, CPQ, Advanced Approvals and Pardot a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality.
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
  • Strong understanding of the platform (Lightning), having abilities to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to new information and change approach to resolve problems.
  • Strong data management abilities.

Responsibilities:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prioritize developing skills related to system processes, Flow, formulas, validation rules, and User testing.
  • Gain a deep understanding of our Salesforce setup to provide general support and training.
  • Work in an agile and dynamic environment to facilitate timely responses to changing project requirements.
  • Create and manage user accounts, assign roles and permissions, and assist with user onboarding and training.
  • Regularly clean and update Salesforce data, manage data imports/exports, and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Generate and customize reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
  • Assist with the setup and configuration of Salesforce features, including custom objects, fields, and workflows.
  • Address user issues and system errors and provide technical support, and escalate complex problems to senior Salesforce Administrator as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and changes to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance system efficiency and user experience. Support Salesforce Administrator in the design, configuration, testing and deployment of Salesforce.com functionality (including, CPQ platform, Community Portals, etc.), as directed by Salesforce Administrator. Collaborate in the design of data integration to connect Salesforce.com to other systems or applications.
  • Participate in testing new features, changes, and integrations, and assist with the deployment of updates and enhancements.
  • Ensure adherence to data security policies and compliance standards and monitor system access and permissions.
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned by Salesforce Administrator.
