Kamstrup is a Danish technology company and a world leading supplier of intelligent metering solutions and services. We have a strong focus on developing the most innovative and value-adding intelligent metering solutions and services for energy- and water consumption. Our ambition is to transform meter data into insights that will help utilities optimize the production and distribution of clean water and energy. We are experiencing high demand for our products and solutions, which is why we are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager for our Danish Sales team within our water business area help us succeed in our goals mentioned above.
With direct reference to our Head of Sales Water Nordic, you will become part of our ambitious Danish Sales organization which consists of 10 colleagues of diverse backgrounds within Business and sales. While you will become part of the Danish Sales organization, you will be working with a broad range of colleagues and customers across the Nordics, whose ambition is to sell more solutions to customers to ensure that we reach our goal of ensuring the delivery of sustainable water to as many people as possible.

PERSONALITY MATTERS

We are looking for an ambitious and proactive Key Account Manager. We imagine that you have an education in Sales, Technology, or Marketing, combined with at least five years of experience working with solution-oriented direct sales or channel sales in a B2B company. Previous experience within industries working with highly technical content is considered an advantage, but the ability to easily acquire and understand technical information is just as valuable.
As a person, you are motivated by achieving results, and are energized by maintaining and developing relationships, both internally and externally, and you find it meaningful and rewarding to visit and connect with customers and partners, where your persistent yet flexible nature helps you find the right solutions to meet our customers’ and partners’ demands. Your communicative abilities make you easily understandable and allow you to translate complex communication between internal and external stakeholders into a shared understanding.
It is a requirement that you can both speak and write Danish and English fluently. Proficiency in Norwegian, or Swedish is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving key account sales & marketing activities
  • Developing and executing account plans, sales activities, and pricing strategies
  • Negotiating contracts and prices in accordance with Kamstrup’s policy
  • Building and maintaining relations to selected accounts, ensuring that you understand their needs, allowing you to offer the best value-adding advice and guidance
  • Strengthening Kamstrup’s market position, securing competitive advantage, and building a solid pipeline of new sales opportunities with existing and new Danish Key Account
