Description:
At The Coca-Cola Company, we’re currently seeking a Quality Assurance and Sustainability Specialist to join our team in CPS MX. The successful candidate will ensure the effective implementation of quality control and assurance systems to maintain high levels of performance and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, practices and standards. A key focus will be on Ingredients, Intermediate and Final Products.

Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Ensuring that laboratory analyses are carried out with integrity and objectivity. Effectively using statistical techniques and problem-solving tools. Supporting measurements necessary to ensure effective control of production processes. Executing analytical activities in the Quality laboratory with a strong focus on waste reduction and process optimization. Complying with the standards and guidelines established by the plant’s management systems and specific initiatives of the Quality Assurance department. Complying and promoting a culture of continuous improvement in all participating activities: GLP, GMP, Management Systems, etc. Ensuring compliance with all provisions and regulations applicable to environmental conservation and occupational health. Promoting safe working conditions to minimize accidents/incidents. Executing sustainability-related investigations and reports (Occupational Work Safety and Environment). Conducting other correlative activities at the request of the immediate supervisor.
What are the qualifications needed
This role requires 1 to 2 years of experience and a degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Chemistry, or equivalent. Candidates should possess skills in waste analysis and treatment, knowledge of legislations for food industries, Environmental and Work Safety, basic knowledge in Standards and Regulations: ISO 9001/14001/ OHSAS 18001, ISO 17025, national legislations, Good Laboratory Practices, use of laboratory equipment, and statistical analysis tools. Intermediate English is preferred.
