Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a Lead Systems Administrator to join our growing team. System Administrator and Database Administrator of enterprise application. This role requires current or reinstatable AGSVA Security Clearance. Some attendance in the office will be required (in order to access customer network). There is some WFH flexibility, but as a subject matter expert, the candidate must be able to attend the office to resolve high severity issues or perform booked administration tasks on occasion if required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintenance Administration

  • Ensure application health running in the application environment
  • Regular checking and maintenance of the application, code base, scripts, database on customer network

Database Administration

  • Ensure database health running in the application environment
  • Database administration functions such as backups, restore, trouble shooting, configuration
  • Project work for installing database, or migrations of application components, set up environments

Release Management

  • Manage Fujitsu development and test environments
  • Manage change control of application code in development, test and deploy environments
  • Produce release packages to customer
  • Install versions of the application software on the customer environment

Administrator SME advice

  • Advise non-routine activities relating to the application stack and database health; advise on questions of impact on licencing; participate in consultations with technical professionals from other disciplines to solve problems
  • Respond to vendor bulletins to assess impact on deployed solutions

General

  • Ensure documentation is kept up to date
  • Maintain currency of knowledge relating to technologies of relevance to the solution
