QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in designing and delivering ETL solutions using Ab Initio tools.
• Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
• Proficiency in UNIX and/or AIX environments, including shell scripting.
• Understanding of architecture and design principles across all systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with high-performing teams and individuals.
• Experience as an Agile developer with a strong grasp of SDLC methodologies.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, HIVE, and Spark.

WE’RE SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED AB INITIO CONSULTANT WITH SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE IN METADATA HUB, DQ CONTROLS, AND DQ MEASUREMENT USING AB INITIO. AS PART OF OUR TEAM, YOU’LL PLAY A PIVOTAL ROLE IN DESIGNING AND IMPLEMENTING CUTTING-EDGE AB INITIO SOLUTIONS.

• Design and implement Ab Initio solutions utilizing GDE, Express IT, Query IT, and other Ab Initio products.
• Independently develop key modules using PDL and Metaprogramming constructs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and data experts to create robust ETL solutions.
• Work autonomously to devise ETL solutions with minimal guidance.
• Dynamically and proactively collaborate with multiple teams.
• Leverage in-depth understanding of Ab Initio products, including GDE, Query IT, Control Center, and Express IT.
• Translate business requirements into comprehensive graphs and plans.
• Apply continuous integration and deployment processes within Ab Initio.
• Develop reusable Ab Initio components to streamline processes.
• Possess knowledge of Hadoop technology and understanding of HDFS files and layouts.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience in Unix shell scripting.
• Familiarity with the banking domain and Ab Initio version 4.x is advantageous.
