REQUIREMENTS
- Mechanical or electrical/electronic experience, supported by an NVQ level 3 apprenticeship and relevant workplace experience - essential
- Experience with Alan Bradley PLC, including fault diagnosis, is advantageous.
- Proven experience with Cochran Steam Boilers and HVAC/Chiller systems.
- Consistent alignment with planned preventative maintenance timelines.
- Understanding of EHS regulations related to maintenance activities.
- Good understanding of GMP compliance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills for collaboration across multiple departments.
- Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivated.
- Ability to prioritize engineering decisions to ensure minimal downtime and smooth operations.

Responsibilities:
- Address reactive breakdowns and perform critical equipment calibrations.
- Maintain and lead facility supporting equipment, including Air Handling Units (AHU), Cochran Steam Boilers, and Chiller plant equipment.
- Complete preventive maintenance schedules with precision.
- Accurately complete and document work orders for traceability.
- Allocate spare parts and coordinate with the Parts Control Specialist to ensure coverage for breakdowns and maintenance.
- Enter maintenance tasks into our computer maintenance management system (CMMS) using IBM Maximo (training provided).
- Coordinate and manage external contractors, including reviewing training documents and Risk Assessment/Method Statements (RAMS).
