Overview of The Role
Reporting to the Director, Legal Affairs, the incumbent will support the team in place in all matters relating to governance, corporate secretary and securities.
How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:
- Support the board of directors of Saputo Inc. and its committees to ensure effective governance, in particular through the preparation of agendas and the management of documents for meetings
- Draft and review public disclosure documents, including the proxy circular, annual information form and sustainability disclosure
- Participate in articulating the governance and disclosure strategy
- Manage all corporate entities and global subsidiaries of Saputo Inc.
- Manage various corporate reorganization projects
- Participate in discussions with various stakeholders, particularly on issues of governance and sustainability
- Participate in the development, improvement, writing and revision of internal policies
- Stay informed of legislative changes and best practices in governance and disclosure and make recommendations, where appropriate
- Provide support in the implementation and administration of long-term incentive plans and employee stock ownership plans
You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:
- Member of the Quebec Bar
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience in corporate law, governance and securities. We are also open to receiving applications with more than 5 years of experience.
- Mastery of the French language and the English language both orally and in writing
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Rigor, good organizational skills, discretion, initiative, ability to perform during busy periods
- Ease of working in a team
As part of their duties, the incumbent will have to communicate and collaborate in English, both orally and in writing with colleagues or other stakeholders in Quebec as well as in the rest of Canada or in North America.

Salary Range: $98,400-$129,150
- Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
