As a Legal Editor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and quality of our legal data products.
About the Role
As a Legal Editor Practical Guidance, you will be responsible for managing and publishing content while ensuring its accuracy, relevance, and adherence to editorial standards. This includes maintaining the quality and timeliness of content, working closely with support staff and operations teams, and overseeing the entire publishing process.

Responsibilities

  • Review, edit and ensure content meets LexisNexis standards and editorial guidelines
  • Ensure all content published are maintained and updated regularly, working together with Content team and Editorial board to ensure content stays relevant and refreshed
  • Working with internal stakeholders - Product and Content team on new content development, product and content roadmap, projects and content/product migration; ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
  • Be the focal point in Practical Guidance content, working closely with authors/contributors and Content and editorial teams from other business units/products

Requirements

  • Tertiary Education Qualification required (Law, Management of Information Systems or equivalent)
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat
  • Minimum 1-year experience in an editorial capacity
  • Demonstrable track record in managing projects or rolling out initiatives an advantage
  • High level of written and spoken English skills
  • Technical competency XML-based or related content management systems an advantage but not a must
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Project management abilities and problem-solving skills
