REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must be committed to contributing to the mission, culture, and values of the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne as well as:

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• An elevated level of confidentiality, organization, flexibility, and ability to handle difficult situations effectively.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the YMCA and ability to achieve applicable certifications: YMCA Diabetes Prevention Lifestyle Coach or Livestrong Instructor to Coach, maintain continuing education credits, and keep all certifications current.

Salary: Part-time $13.50-$14.00 hourly
Hours Available: 4:00 pm- 8:00pm

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Provide support and guidance to participants in designated program, implement standard curriculum designed for the program and help them achieve their well-being goals.
