Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team at DJC Law Firm, a leading personal injury law firm. The ideal candidate will assist in all aspects of litigation, from case inception through trial, and provide critical support to attorneys in managing personal injury cases. This role requires a deep understanding of legal procedures, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

EXPERIENCE:



    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in personal injury law.

    • Solid understanding of personal injury claims, medical records, and insurance processes.
    • Familiarity with legal software (e.g., Clio, Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar) – FileVine is a huge plus!

    SKILLS:



      • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and deadlines.

      • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
      • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal case management software.

      Responsibilities:

      • Case Preparation and Management:


        • Assist attorneys with case management from intake to settlement or trial.

        • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
        • Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
        • Prepare discovery materials (e.g., interrogatories, requests for production of documents, and depositions).
