The Opportunity: Based at either Wacol, Welshpool or Rutherford branch, we are our seeking a Machine Analyst to work in collaboration with Komatsu Service teams and our customers to improve product reliability and performance, demonstrate new and innovative ways to manage and maintain our equipment and to supports our customers business drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts performance assessments daily on a subscribed number of machines and provides actionable information.
  • Regular contact with Komatsu Service and Customer Teams to communicate product performance issues and how they can be resolved.
  • Monitors the recommendations and actions provided to ensure they are completed.
  • Conducts ad-hoc analysis on equipment by request.
  • Documents all interactions and assigns a value.
  • Identifies machine performance issues that can be better managed through Analytics and support the development and application of this solution with the analytics team.
  • Evaluate our overall service performance on a regular basis to ensure that the service support is delivering against targets with a view to being recognised as ‘best in class’
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with customers to promote Smart Solutions capability and offer support to both Komatsu Service teams and our customer to improve product performance.
  • Instil a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across all aspects of service work
  • Facilitates knowledge transfer and understanding for internal and external stakeholders on the application of analytics in relation to how it is applied to our equipment and how it can improve performance.
  • Provides training on SmartCare analytics tools to Komatsu Service and Customer Personnel.
