MAIL ROOM QUALITY ASSURANCE ASSOCIATE (LEAD)

Under the leadership of the Mailroom Supervisor, the Mailroom Quality Assurance Associate is responsible for effective implementation of SSRS’ policies, procedures, and activities in the mailroom operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and process incoming mail.
  • Remove mail contents from envelopes.
  • Count and organize mailing contents.
  • Review scanned data images for accuracy.
  • Entering data from scanned images.
  • Review employees’ work, create quality coaching documents and conduct one on one training sessions.
  • Operate mailroom equipment.
  • Reconcile tasks at close of shift.
  • Pick up/Drop off mail at local post office.
  • Verify accounting paperwork.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1+ Years experience of leadership experience.
  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver license.
  • Availability to work 35 hours per week.
  • Strong Typing, Computing and Data entry skills.
  • Type 50 wpm or better.
  • Lift and carry as heavy as 40 pounds.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Use repeated hand, finger, and wrist motions.
