Responsibilities:

The role is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies that enhance our brand, reputation and communications (both internal and external) for the Asia Pacific business units, in consultation with our Global Corporate Communications, Marketing & Brand (CCMB) hub in Dubai.
A diverse, fast paced, and hands-on role that reports directly to our Manager, Strategic Projects and working closely with our CEO. This role is the driving force behind building positive brand awareness both internally and externally, engaging our multi-cultural workforce of over 4,500 people, delivering high-quality and well-executed events, and managing our Australian corporate social responsibility initiatives across our APAC brands, dnata catering & retail and Snap Fresh.
This role requires a prominent level of creativity, strong design aptitude, ability to plan, pitch and coordinate execution of campaigns, as well as manage the overall strategic direction from an MCE perspective.

WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?

  • Translate our business strategies into brand and reputation activities.
  • Deliver engaging and targeted internal communications, consistently and creatively, across multiple channels and distribution methods.
  • Plan, source and create content for all communications for both print and digital platforms, including copywriting and design.
  • Deliver strategic and tactical marketing and planned public relation campaigns.
  • Manage all media activities to maintain an ongoing positive public image and enhance our company visibility.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Dubai CCMB team regularly, contributing to quarterly plans and work together on local brand, public relations and communication activities.
  • Grow Snap Fresh social media effectiveness to improve and support our social footprint and engagement within APAC.
  • In conjunction with Dubai CCMB PR & Crises team, maintain an up-to-date crises and response plan including media coverage and follow up
  • Manage and seek opportunities to enhance our CSR impact.
  • Full event management responsibility on company sanctioned events.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN SECURING THIS ROLE?

  • Demonstrated experience (10 years+) working in a similar role and B2B model.
  • Bachelor or master’s qualified in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or similar.
  • Experience working for a geographically diverse business with a multi-cultural workforce of over 4,000 employees.
  • A creative and innovative thinker with strong design experience and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, create effective business cases, and manage feedback, data analysis and tracking the full life cycle of campaigns.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance and brand guidelines.
  • Proficient with videography, photography, and editing.
  • Proficient with programs such as iMovie, Canva, Lightroom, Photoshop, PremierPro and After Effects.
  • Proficient with digital advertising, specifically Google advertising and social media.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills and flexibility to work on multiple projects at once.
  • Strong stakeholder management.
