Location: Must reside in The Bay Area
EDUCATION
- Bachelor or advanced degree in business, marketing, mathematics or sciences.
- Requires 7+ years of experience; for employees with at least 2+ years in a Management role.
EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in management and leadership roles in a fast-paced service environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong business intuition and the ability to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability in an applied Industry, including a background in service operations, marketing, sales, and business development.
- Demonstrated success managing a P&L, and leading businesses to profitable growth and market share penetration.
- Ability to identify customers’ needs and provide solutions exceeding expectations.
- Experience and proven ability to work efficiently in an international environment.
- Experience working in a multinational company with demonstrated ability to lead effectively and achieve results in a matrixed operating environment.
- Ability to analyze and assimilate complicated problems to determine effective strategies.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Field Service team to ensure flawless execution of service operations and customer satisfaction.
- Build, lead and sustain a strong, motivated team of Field Service engineers and Supervisors, who are assigned to support different service areas and product lines.
- Create and implement strategies to drive growth and take advantage of opportunities for increased profitability in the market.
- Analyze complex problems and formulate clear strategies and solutions to drive business success.
- Cultivate and promote Thermo Fisher Scientific’s 4i values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.
- Travel up to 30% to engage with customers and provide leadership support.
