Our Inside Sales team holds a strategic position at the top of the sales funnel for the Inside Sales organisation. We are looking for an experienced manager to help lead this team and ensure their individual and career growth, while aligning to the goals of New Relic. You will define and align sales development goals, strategy, and tactics to our go-to-market initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with sales and marketing groups to improve pipeline creation.
You’ll have a deep understanding of all areas of the sales cycle and understand the Marketing Funnel and nature of each stage. As a people manager you’ll be a strong coach, have the ability to put the team first, solve problems and work well under pressure.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and manage an EMEA team of new logo hunting, inside sales representatives to achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Develop sales strategies and tactics to increase sales, conversion and improve customer engagement.
  • Analyse sales performance data, develop actionable insights, and implement initiatives that drive continued sales growth.
  • Help your team close new business opportunities.
  • Coach and develop team members, delivering ongoing training and development programs to improve sales skills and overall performance.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry and market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, using this knowledge to inform sales strategies and tactics.

This role requires

  • Deep knowledge and demonstrable software sales experience. A proven track record of managing and developing a team of successful sales representatives.
  • Excellent problem solving, project management, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce (SDFD) CRM.
  • Ability to train, coach and mentor sales development representatives to improve and succeed.
