Description:
Major/Essential Functions
Assist the Principal Investigators assigned to the grant objectives in ensuring programmatic, financial and regulatory oversight.
Work closely with the Principal Investigators and the administrative core staff assigned to the grant to ensure adequate communication, and coordination of the mentoring committees and external mentors.
Effectively use resources to manage and implement primary data collection, develop study related databases, assist with statistical analysis.
Maintain communication with project director ensure all program goals and objectives (target numbers) are met.
Coordinates progress reporting for sponsor agency. Work with various oversight departments in submitting all related documents for regulatory purposes.
Manages the implementation of assigned research projects, ensuring staff are compliant with all protocols and regulatory requirements.
Ensures all staff under supervision are achieving the assigned goals in a timely manner and with accuracy.
Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes.
Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP’s values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Actively promote and encourage staff across the institution.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with two years supervisory experience; OR
A combination of education and/or supervisory experience to equal six years.
Preferred Qualifications
Grant management experience, finance experience and report writing.
