and scientific requirements of the role with creative problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
Additionally, the Manufacturing Process Engineer will help manage capital projects (equipment and construction) and continuous improvement projects. This role will lead and assist in the development of projects, determine the best solution and a plan to execute upon it.
This role will report to the Senior Project Engineering Manager. This is a full-time, onsite role with company benefits based in Brea, CA.
The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $95,000 to $120,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and local market rates.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for all aspects of our manufacturing process, overseeing all changes to the production process, troubleshooting production issues related to the manufacturing process and control of critical parameters, and reviewing any new designs or modifications to production equipment.
  • Represent Engineering as a technical expert in manufacturing projects, including overseeing the scale up of formulas to production, process optimization projects, and any other manufacturing improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between Engineering and Production to ensure that all tradeoffs are assessed in alignment with Dr. Squatch’s strategic objectives.
  • Manage Dr. Squatch Manufacturing Engineering projects to ensure seamless execution of capital equipment and continuous improvement projects, while ensuring that all plans, communications and processes between the Engineering and Production stakeholders are clearly defined and properly delivered in alignment with Dr. Squatch’s strategic objectives
  • Work with the Engineering Team on equipment design/selection, cost-benefit analysis (BVOA), and budget approval process
  • Manage all aspects of project execution including scope, budget, cost estimates, schedule, site construction, safety, equipment installation, training, and turnover
  • Team up with functional leads in the areas of Safety, Maintenance, Production, Packaging, and Quality to clearly define project scope, deliverables, safety, and cost objectives, in order to appropriately hold Vendors accountable
